Windermere Cup/Opening Day 2012: The Stewards' Enclosure

  All friends and family of Washington Rowing are welcome!
 Location: finish line area on the north/University side of Montlake Cut.
 Gates open at 9 a.m.
Racing begins at 10:20 a.m.
 Cost is $10 per person (payable at the gate) and includes continental breakfast, grandstand seating, and a fenced viewing area! 

Parking/Directions:
Parking will be a challenge again this year due to the Sound Transit construction taking place in the UW stadium parking lot.  The old gatehouse is now closed and parking will not be available at the stadium. The best bet for campus parking will be the large Montlake Lot E1 (see map here - Map/Directions/Parking).  Event parking for the day of the Windermere Cup will be $10 at the gate.  There also will be "event parking" ($15.00) at some of the other parking areas around campus, including the south campus (medical center).  We recommend carpooling with your favorite husky fans!

Please note that the Montlake Bridge will be closed to traffic from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and will be raised a few minutes after the last crew race and remain open during the boat parade (usually for about three hours).  Make sure you get on the right side of the bridge before it goes up!
